AUGUST 8, 2009

Meeting was called to order by President Terry Simpson at

1:30 pm.

The treasure’s report was given by Patsy Postier, Rex Buzan approved and Gary Baergen seconded.

The meeting was held at Chandler Park on Saturday. There were 22 members, Terry cooked burgers and hot dogs, and they had great homemade ice cream and cobbler. Be sure and check our web site for pictures of the picnic www.classicchevyok.org.

Old Business:

On July 25^th there were 19 of us that met and ate at the Blue Dome Café for breakfast. That was a fun time and a good breakfast.

NEW BUSINESS:

Jim and Donna Grisham saw there 57 Chevy. Got one side painted 4 coats of red + 2 coats of clear. He will sand then shoot 2 more clear coats. Jim said it really looks nice in the sun. Good news Jim.

ACTIVITIES:

August 22^nd the Rock Café in Stroud. Meet in Sapulpa, at the 66 diner 219 E Dewey Ave, at 11:00 so we can all drive together.

Sept. 12th Claremore Chili Fest, we need judges and volunteers. Get there between 7:00 am and 8:00 am

Sept. 26 Country Festival at Eden Mennonite Church. Breakfast from 7:30 am to 9:00 am. There will be an auction, bake sale, antique car show and Amish buggy ride. Address 21905 E 600 Rd, 1½ miles south of hwy 412. It’s on the Mayes/Rogers county line.

Sept. 27^th Jim and Donna’s 5^th Annual Car Show @ South Tulsa Baptist Church, arrive around 3:00 pm.

Oct. 22- 25 Fall Foliage.

Jim Grisham is going to check and see if we can have our Christmas Party at Stokley’s Center again this year.

Carroll Hamer brought pictures of the stanchions he’s making for the club. Rex Buzan made a motion for Carroll to make a stand for the banners and Gary Cotner seconded.

Rex Buzan and Terry Simpson both placed in the National Chicago Show in July. The 2011 show will be in the Branson area & Springfield will host it.

Gary Baergen made the motion to adjourn at 2:02 pm and Jim Grisham seconded.
